October was a big month. Two new ways for businesses to work on Arattai, and a long list of smaller things that make everyday chatting easier. Here's all of it.
The Arattai Business App
Your business now has a home on Arattai. Put up your hours, your location, and your catalogue, and customers can find you and start a conversation in a couple of taps. A bakery down the road can take the day's orders in chat instead of hoping someone finds the right phone number.
It lives inside the app people already open every day. Nothing for your customers to install. No new number to save. Your profile is searchable, your catalogue is easy to share, and every enquiry comes to one place instead of being spread across calls, DMs, and missed messages.
Setting it up takes a few minutes. Download the Business App, verify your number, fill in your profile, and you're open.

The Arattai Business Platform
Most businesses already have software running the work. The Business Platform connects Arattai to it, so customer conversations become part of that work instead of a separate inbox someone has to remember to check. A logistics company can send shipment updates from its own order system straight into the customer's chat, with nobody copying anything by hand.
That covers the messages customers actually want to get. Order confirmations. Appointment reminders. Delivery alerts. Payment receipts. Each one sent by your system at the moment it matters. When the customer replies, it lands in the same thread, so your team has the whole conversation in front of them.
If you're ready to build, start with the documentation and talk to us about access.

Delivery reports are here
Read receipts now have company. One tick means your message has left your phone. Two ticks mean it has reached theirs. So when you send a friend the address of the place you're meeting, you can tell whether it got through or whether their phone is simply switched off, without having to ask if they saw it.
Channel links now support both
Capitalisation in channel links is yours to decide. Write the name the way you actually write it. TechFest2026 sits better on a poster, is quicker to read out, and is easier for someone to type correctly the first time.
Your Stories ring stays on the chat list
The ring used to disappear once you had seen everything. It stays now. The clip you watched with your morning coffee is still one tap away at lunch.
Delete channel messages for up to 30 days
You can delete a channel message up to 30 days after sending it. If an event date changes three weeks after you announced it, the old post can come down before it confuses anyone who just joined.
A faster start on iOS
Arattai opens twice as fast on iOS. When you are at a counter looking for a payment confirmation, the app is ready before you are.
Select multiple chats and act together
Select a few chats straight from the chat list and mark as read, mute, pin, archive, or delete them together. A week's worth of finished group chats clears in one go instead of one at a time. Available on Android.
Give your files the right name
Rename a file before you send it, so it arrives with a name that makes sense. "IMG_20261014_0032.pdf" becomes "Rent Agreement, Oct 2026" on its way to your landlord. Available on Android.
Videos are compressed when you send them
Videos are compressed as you send them, so files are smaller and your data lasts longer. A two minute clip from a wedding goes out on mobile data without eating into your pack. Available on Android.
Share from other apps to multiple chats at once
Share text and media from any app to several Arattai chats at once. The holiday photos reach the family group, the cousins' group, and two friends in one step instead of four. Available on Android.
Search by user and date on Web
Chat search on Web can now be filtered by sender and date. Looking for the invoice a colleague sent sometime in September? Narrow it down to their name and that month, and skip the scrolling.
That's October, wrapped up. Stay tuned for what's coming next.
