March was a good month. Here's everything that's new on Arattai.
Your chats, backed up and secure
You can now back up your chats to Google Drive or iCloud, with end-to-end encryption. So even your backups stay private, not just your conversations. Available on Android and iOS.
No more accidental clicks on suspicious links
If someone who isn't in your contacts sends you a link, select action on that link is now disabled. It's a small change that quietly protects you from accidentally opening something you shouldn't. Available across all clients.
Links that are easier to read at a glance
Link previews got a fresh upgrade for better readability and usability. When someone shares a link, you get a cleaner, clearer preview right in the chat. Available on Android.
Your stickers, now in Arattai too
You can now send stickers directly from your device's own sticker collections, without having to save them to Arattai separately. Available on Android and iOS.
Always know where it came from
When a Story is forwarded from a channel, the source channel is now clearly mentioned on it. So whoever's watching your Story knows exactly where it originated. Available across all clients.
Share channel content straight to your Story
You can now share posts from channels directly to your Story, without any extra steps. Now available on Web.
Spot who's not in your contacts
A "~" symbol now appears before the name of anyone who isn't saved in your contacts. A subtle but handy way to know who you're talking to. Available on iOS and Web.
Tap on dates and addresses, right from the message
Arattai now automatically recognises dates and addresses in messages. So when someone shares a date or a location, you can interact with it directly without having to copy and paste it elsewhere. Available on iOS.
Eight new packs, including animated ones
Eight new sticker packs have been added to Arattai this month, including animated stickers, giving your conversations a little more personality. Available across all clients.
Read text inside images, without the squinting
Text within images shared in channels can now be detected automatically. So if someone shares an image with text on it, you can actually read and use that content without any extra effort. Available on Web.
That's March, wrapped up. Stay tuned for what's coming next.
