Arattai Terms and Privacy Policy Update
Arattai has evolved, and our policies are evolving with it. We have updated our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to reflect the enhanced security advancements, including transition to End-to-End Encryption. These updates ensure our practices remain compliant with legal and regulatory framework, while reinforcing our commitment to privacy and core values we uphold as an organization.
Key updates include :
Privacy Policy Revamp : Complete overhaul of the Privacy Policy to prioritise transparency and control. We have dealt in detail what data we collect and how it is used, how long we retain, your rights regarding your information, and scenarios where data subject is subject to automated processing or human review.
End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) : Enhanced transparency on how E2EE secures your data and how data is managed on non-E2EE surfaces. Our Terms now explain that when you choose to report content, that specific content is shared with Arattai in an unencrypted form for review.
User Content and Conduct Policy : New guidelines to ensure Arattai remains a safe and respectful environment. We have charted a clear guide on what is and what isn't permissible on the platform.
Platform Integrity : Introduced additional usage restrictions to maintain integrity of the platform and ensure a trusted environment for everyone.
Transparency in Legal Disclosures : Where legally required, limited information that we hold about you may be shared with authorities without compromising the security of your messages protected by E2EE.
Inactive Account Management : We’ve updated our cleanup policy for inactive accounts to enhance platform security and manage resources.
