ARATTAI MINI APP TERMS

Last Updated Date: 10 September 2026

Effective Date: 17 September 2026

1. About These Mini App Terms

These Arattai Mini App Terms ("Mini App Terms") apply when you access or use a Mini App through the Arattai messaging application or the Arattai Business application.

These Mini App Terms are Service-Specific Terms under the Arattai General Terms of Service ("General Terms"). The General Terms, Arattai Privacy Policy, and Content & Conduct Policy apply to your use of Mini Apps. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given in the General Terms. If these Mini App Terms conflict with the General Terms, these Mini App Terms will control only in relation to Mini Apps.

By launching or using a Mini App after these Mini App Terms are made available to you, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not launch or use a Mini App.

2. Provider Terms and Privacy Notice

In addition to these Mini App Terms, your use of a Mini App is also governed by the Mini App Provider's terms, privacy policy, notices, and any terms of a payment or other third-party service used by the Mini App. You should review them before using the Mini App, sharing information, or entering into a transaction. The Mini App Provider's terms govern your relationship with that provider and do not amend your agreement with Arattai.

3. Mini App User Identifier

Each time you launch a Mini App, Arattai provides the Mini App Provider with a Mini App User Identifier. It is distinct from profile fields shared with your consent. This allows the provider to recognise the same Arattai account across separate Mini App sessions, even if cookies or similar browser storage are cleared. The same identifier is currently made available to more than one Mini App Provider, but each provider is prohibited from comparing or pooling it with information received by another Business Platform Customer. Closing the Mini App, clearing its cookies or storage, or reinstalling an Arattai Application while continuing to use the same account does not by itself prevent recognition through the Mini App User Identifier.

4. Profile Information and Permission Choices

A Mini App Provider may request specified fields from your Arattai profile, such as your name, phone number, or other profile information and preferences that Arattai makes available. Arattai will show you the requested fields and ask for your consent before sharing those fields with the provider.

A Mini App Provider may mark a field mandatory or optional, or choose not to request profile fields. If you decline an optional field, Arattai will not share that field, although a feature that depends on it may not be available. If you decline a required field, the relevant feature or Mini App may not be available.

You can review or withdraw consent-based Mini App permissions through the controls made available in Arattai. Withdrawal stops future sharing by Arattai and does not automatically retract information already received. The Mini App Provider must stop future use and delete the field unless it has another lawful basis or a legal obligation to retain it. To exercise rights in relation to the Mini App Provider's copy, contact the provider using the details in its privacy policy.

5. Technical and Container-Level Events

When you use the Mini App container controls to launch, minimise or close a Mini App, Arattai provides the Mini App Provider with narrow technical information and container-level events representing those actions, without a separate consent prompt. They enable Arattai and the provider to (i) establish, continue, pause or end the identified interaction, (ii) associate with your Mini App User Identifier, and (iii) allow recognition across sessions. They do not authorise unrelated advertising, profiling, surveillance, identity graphs or cross-business tracking. The provider must delete the Mini App User Identifier and this user-behaviour information when they are no longer required for the disclosed relationship, unless law requires retention.

6. Information Collected Directly by the Mini App Provider

Because a Mini App is a provider-operated web application, the Mini App Provider will receive your IP address when your device connects to its service. Depending on the Mini App and the choices you make, the provider may also collect browser or device information, cookies or similar storage, pages and actions within the Mini App, information you enter or upload, location, and purchase, payment, booking, or other transaction information.

Information collected through the provider's web application is collected by or for the Mini App Provider, and is governed by its privacy policy and applicable law. Arattai does not determine the provider's purposes, storage, retention, onward disclosure or deletion. The provider is independently responsible for that processing and may process information in a country different from where you live.

Arattai's controls for consent-based profile fields do not prevent the provider from asking you to enter the same or other information directly into its web application. Before doing so, consider the provider's privacy policy and whether the information is necessary for the service you want.

7. Products, Services, Payments, Cancellations and Refunds

Unless Arattai expressly states otherwise for a particular transaction, any product, service, booking, offer, payment, or other transaction made or initiated through a Mini App is between you and the Mini App Provider. Arattai is not the seller, merchant, supplier, payment processor, fulfilment provider, or party responsible for that transaction.

The Mini App Provider is responsible for product and service descriptions, prices, taxes, legality, quality, safety, performance, availability, order acceptance, fulfilment, delivery, warranties, customer support, cancellations, returns, refunds, and transaction disputes. If a separate payment provider is used, its terms and privacy policy may also apply, and payment questions or disputes must be raised with the provider, the payment service, or your bank.

Any refund policy published by Arattai applies only to payments covered by that policy and does not govern amounts paid to a Mini App Provider or another third party. You should review the Mini App Provider's cancellation and refund terms before completing a transaction. Nothing in these Mini App Terms excludes any consumer right, remedy, warranty, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

8. Your Responsibilities

When using a Mini App, you must:

  • provide accurate and current information, and have all rights and permissions needed for any information, content, files, or instructions you submit;
  • comply with these Mini App Terms, General Terms, the Content & Conduct Policy, applicable law, and the Mini App Provider's terms and privacy policy;
  • verify the provider, transaction details, recipient, price, currency, delivery terms, and refund terms before making a payment or commitment; and
  • protect your device and account, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access or fraud.

You must not:

  • use a Mini App for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, infringing, deceptive, or harmful purposes;
  • introduce malware or harmful code, attempt unauthorised access, probe or exploit vulnerabilities, or interfere with the Mini App, its provider, the Arattai container, or the Business Platform integration;
  • scrape, harvest, extract, or use information through automated or unauthorised means, or bypass permissions, access controls, rate limits, or other safeguards; or
  • misrepresent your identity, eligibility, authority, location, instructions, or transaction details.

9. Availability and Security

A Mini App may be changed, interrupted, suspended, or discontinued by its provider. Arattai may also modify the Mini App container or integration, restrict access to a Mini App or feature, or suspend, disable, or remove a Mini App or a user's access where reasonably necessary for technical, security, legal, policy, or operational reasons.

Arattai may review a Mini App for compliance with applicable technical, security, legal, or policy requirements, but is not required to continuously monitor or test every Mini App. Review, onboarding, KYC verification, listing, or continued availability does not constitute certification, approval, endorsement or guarantee by Arattai of the Mini App Provider, security of the provider's web application or systems, or its products and services. You should independently consider whether a provider and its offering are appropriate for you.

10. Mini App Support and Data Requests

For questions or complaints about a Mini App's content, functionality, products, services, transactions, fulfilment, cancellations, refunds, or the provider's handling of information, contact the Mini App Provider using the contact details made available in the Mini App, its terms, or its privacy policy. Requests to access, correct, delete, restrict, or otherwise exercise rights over information held independently by the provider must also be directed to the provider.

11. Disclaimers and Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, access to the Mini App container and third-party Mini Apps is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Arattai does not warrant that a Mini App, or any content, information, product, service, price, availability, result, or transaction offered through it, will be accurate, complete, current, secure, uninterrupted, error-free, free from harmful components, suitable for your needs, or of any particular quality or value. Arattai does not assume responsibility for the acts, omissions, systems, content, products, services, transactions, or data practices of a Mini App Provider. Nothing in these Mini App Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
