Arattai Content & Conduct Policy
Published Date: 12th May, 2026
Effective Date: 1st June, 2026
This Content & Conduct Policy explains what you can and cannot do on Arattai Services. It applies to all Arattai users and all Arattai Services unless a specific Service or feature has additional supplemental terms.
Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to:
- Every Arattai user.
- Admins and owners of groups and channels.
Age requirement: Arattai is currently for 18+ only. If we reasonably believe you are under 18, we may restrict or disable your account.
Where this policy applies
These rules apply to the user content and conduct on:
- Private surfaces: Direct messages, group chats, calls, meetings, user profiles and stories.
- Public or discoverable surfaces: Channels and any surface where people can find your content without being your contact.
We generally apply stricter rules to public or discoverable surfaces than to private chats.
How this policy relates to other Arattai legal documents
- Your use of Arattai Services is governed by the Arattai Terms of Service and this policy.
- Some features and Services may have Supplemental Terms. Those Supplemental Terms apply in addition to these rules.
End-to-end encryption and what Arattai can review
Your personal messages and calls are protected by end-to-end encryption. Because of end-to-end encryption, Arattai generally cannot access the content of your personal messages or calls.
What Arattai may use to enforce these rules
Arattai may take action for violations based on the limited information available to us, such as:

- Group/channel information (for example: group or channel name, description, profile photo, member lists, admin and owner details, and invite links)
- Message delivery details (for example: who sent the message, the recipient, and the timestamp)
- Call details (for example: who initiated the call, the recipient, call duration, and timestamp)
- Meeting details (for example: who organized the meeting, participants, meeting duration, and meeting link)
- Reports from users, including the specific content a reporting user chooses to share with us through the reporting flow
- Signals about abusive behavior, such as spam patterns, attempts to compromise accounts, use of unofficial clients, or other integrity threats
